Webhook is a communication mechanism that allows the Windward platform to proactively notify (push) clients about insights and newly received information in the maritime domain.
Utilizing Webhooks enables the consumers to implement the event-driven architecture and save computational resources, as well as reduce the latency between new information and insights until it is being utilized within the client system.
When an event in the maritime domain shall trigger an internal business process in the client’s system, webhook is the right tool to use.
